Employee Retention Credit Claims Withdrawal

Until recently, anyone who previously filed an Employee Retention Credit claim did not have an avenue to withdraw their claim if they were concerned about its accuracy. Now, the IRS has announced that there will be a new process which allows certain employers that filed an ERC claim but have not yet received a refund to withdraw their submission and avoid future repayment, interest and penalties.
