Faulk and Winkler Mourns the Loss of Partner Jeremy Klibert
It is with profound sadness that Faulk and Winkler shares the passing of our partner and dear friend, Jeremy M. Klibert, who passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. We are deeply grateful to the many clients, colleagues, and friends who have offered prayers, kindness, and support to Jeremy’s family during this very difficult time.
Jeremy was truly a pillar in our firm and will be remembered most for the genuine care he showed to his team members and clients alike. He brought warmth and personality to everything he did - whether cheering on LSU, traveling to rock concerts with his wife, Liz, or offering his well-known and much-loved critiques of gumbo.
Over the past 21 years, Jeremy made a lasting impression on our firm and the clients he served by exemplifying what it means to lead others with compassion. He took tremendous pride in serving others and in delivering exceptional service in every relationship he formed. Jeremy will be deeply missed by our firm, our clients, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jeremy joined our firm in 2005 as a staff accountant and was admitted as a partner in 2013. He specialized in tax services where he led our tax practice with humility and expertise - mentoring colleagues, providing invaluable insight on taxation strategies and planning services, and supporting a diverse client base throughout the greater Baton Rouge community. His dedication to the profession extended well beyond our firm, including service as President of the Baton Rouge chapter of the LCPA in 2019 and participation on the statewide Federal Taxation Committee, Estate & Financial Planning Committee, and the Louisiana Tax Conference Committee. He also previously served as Treasurer of Sports BR (Formerly Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation) and the Purple & Gold PAC.
We ask that you keep his wife, Liz, and their son, Jackson, in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of Jeremy.
Final resting will be at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park, 15304 Hwy 73, Prairieville, Louisiana.
