Kathleen Krohn
Special Projects Lead, Transaction Advisory Services
Kathleen Krohn provides advisory service to clients considering transitions or transactions. With more than 15 years of experience as an accountant and controller, she brings a comprehensive perspective based on exposure to various industries and types of work.
Advising on special projects, Kathleen’s super-power is onboarding clients following a transition in accounting personnel or provider or following an ownership transaction. She serves as the first line of defense in setting up systems, tools, and team members for success to position clients for the best return on efforts and investments. She oversees software migration and implementation on clients’ behalf, cleans up financial statements, and presents clients with accurate financials to report on relevant KPIs.
Based on a mix of in-house and outsourced accounting management experience, Kathleen has supported businesses spanning the construction, non-profit, healthcare, logistics, and development sectors. She has led projects spanning accounts payable, outsourced client accounting, new client onboarding, audit preparation and annual close-out, implementation and special projects, and others.
In addition to her career in client service, one of Kathleen’s proudest achievements is investing into her own career to earn her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. This process equipped her with the experience and strategic insights required to influence leadership in shaping business decisions.
I pride myself on building and maintaining client relationships, and that’s one reason I decided to come back to Faulk & Winkler. The firm’s priorities for providing innovative, transformational client service align with my overall approach.
