Director

Jess Daze, is a Director at Faulk & Winkler and a key leader within the firm’s Assurance practice, with a focus on governmental and public-sector clients. With more than a decade of assurance experience, Jess oversees engagements for both governmental entities and commercial organizations, helping clients navigate complex reporting and compliance requirements.

Jess’s work includes financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, single audits, and agreed-upon procedures. He is experienced with Governmental Accounting Standards and the requirements of the Louisiana Legislative Auditor, and he is known for thoughtful engagement planning, quality oversight, and developing teams through hands-on leadership.

Jess holds a BS in Accounting from Nicholls State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
