Faulk & Winkler Continues Growth Trajectory by naming Kasey Melancon Partner

Faulk & Winkler is pleased to announce that Kasey Melancon, EA, MBA, QKA has been admitted as a partner in the firm. From offices across Louisiana’s Capital and Acadiana regions, Kasey serves clients nationally.

‍“Kasey’s outstanding character and hardworking disposition have upheld our core values for client service ‍since he joined Faulk & Winkler almost a decade ago,” said Tommy LeJeune, Faulk & Winkler’s Managing Partner. “Naming Kasey a partner represents the next step toward becoming Louisiana’s destination firm for accounting and business advisory services.”

‍As partner, Kasey will lead the Sentinel division of the firm, which provides third-party administration and consulting services for employer-sponsored retirement plans. Kasey joined Faulk & Winkler as a plan administrator in 2017, was promoted to senior manager of business operations in 2021, and moved into a director role in 2023. Across these roles, Kasey has been pivotal in driving the company’s growth and fostering innovation. As partner, Kasey will lead the firm’s retirement plan division by overseeing strategic initiatives, strengthening advisor and client relationships, leading operational excellence and team development, and supporting continued practice expansion.

‍Since January 2025, Faulk & Winkler has increased its headcount by almost 50%. In less than 18 months, the firm has brought on new hires across every service line and administrative function, including five new senior/director level team members.

‍Kasey serves on the board of Impact Acadiana and is the founder/president of the Shae Stelly Memorial Scholarship Fund. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MBA from LSU-Shreveport. Before transitioning to the financial sector, he built a diverse career as an athletic trainer and math educator.
