Slade Jones
Director
Slade Jones advises business owners across various industries to strengthen their financial operations and support strategic growth. He partners with clients to transform financial data into actionable insights through timely, accurate financial reporting supported by strong accounting processes and internal controls.
With previous careers in construction and running a woodworking business, Slade is intimately familiar with the operations and concerns of contractors, manufacturers, and industrial clients. This background affords him a shared perspective with many of his clients, whose daily focus is working with their hands to build something new. His work runs in parallel to that effort, designing strong financial and business infrastructure.
Slade describes himself as a “business connoisseur” and lifelong learner. He applies this to his work by developing relationships with business owners and their employees to learn what makes them unique. His favorite aspect of the job is digging into questions like, “what do you want out of your business?”, “are you happy with your numbers?”, and “how can we optimize processes to make your life easier?”
By combining technical accounting expertise with a practical approach, he works alongside leadership teams to develop budgets and forecasts, optimize cash flow, analyze performance, improve profitability, and provide strategic financial guidance that supports informed decision-making and long-term success.
As Director, Slade’s role is not only to serve clients, but also to support the Partners in navigating the roadmap for achieving the team’s goals. He invests his time in developing the team by keeping up with accounting industry developments and position his colleagues to succeed, both in their daily work and across their careers.
Outside the office, Slade describes his interests as typical South Louisiana activities: He enjoys hunting with his parents, watching LSU sports and the Saints, and cooking (his specialties are stuffed shrimp and etouffee). His time away from work is primarily spent with his wife and two young children.
